08 Nov There is still time
So we all know about new years resolutions and how effective they are. We usually wait till the end of the year to make a change, inspired by a date, 01 January. It may work to stop a bad habit or start a good habit, but if your goal is to buy a property in 2020, then why don’t you start the process now? Why wait till January?
Our Buyer’s Agents are telling us that you may be able to score yourself a bargain in the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas. Vendors and real estate agents want their properties sold before Christmas. They know if they don’t sell this side of Christmas, then they will have to wait till February next year. Minimum. Real Estate Agents are on leave, people are usually away on holidays and no one is looking at buying a property.
This gives you, as the purchaser, an unfair advantage.

Rebates, offers and frequent flyer points.
Major lenders are competing for business and offering cash rebates for refinancing your loan, cash rebates when you purchase your home and even Qantas frequent flyer points. This is a good time to take advantage of their offers as you may be eligible for up to $2,000 per property you refinance. In some occasions where people have 4 properties, they can receive a rebate of $8,000 on top of the annual interest savings.

Is that a Mo? Bro?
So my attempt at growing a moustache (mo) is going ok for the first couple of days. People didn’t know if I was growing a mo or if it was the 3 pm shadow. As time passes and most peoples mo’s are solid, mine looks a little teenageish. I have never been able to grow a solid beard or a mo, but I am happy to cop the looks if it means we raise awareness and money for a good cause.
What I am enjoying most is the running, I have so far run 13.1km since the 1st of November and excited to reach my goal of 60kms in November.
You can donate to my mo HERE.
